Tutorial For Calling RPG programs from WDSC

If you are like the rest of the iSeries world you are trying to find out ways to use legacy code, specifically RPG and Cobol in your web interfaces.

Part of that requirement is being able to call high level language programs from the web. A way to do just that is described in a link on our reference page.

Jim Mason provides a PDF with the step by step instructions to call RPG from WDSC. This information is available by clicking on Reference Links on the Virtual400.com nav bar to your left. Then go to the Websphere information section where you'll find the link.

This is worth looking at if you are trying to reuse legacy code, or incorporate more functionality in the back office to your web applications.
