V5R1 CGI Program Compilation.

If you are a Basic + or Developer subscriber using CGI programming techniques you will need to perform the following fix to your programs.

This is also necessary for your "welcome" program that was placed in your library when your account was first created.

There is a utility program used to compile CGI programs in your CL source file called V40CLCGIC. This program has been updated. To obtain the updated source, cut and paste this command into the command line of an emulation session, change the TOFILE library name V40LBXXX to your library and run it.

===> CPYSRCF FROMFILE(V40LBCOMN/QCLSRC) TOFILE(V40LBXXX/QCLSRC) FROMMBR(V40CLCGIC) TOMBR(V40CLCGIC)

Once you have the source in your source file compile it into your library replacing the version you currently have. This program is the template for compiling CGI programs. You can review the source for the correct parameters for compiling CGI.

Recompile all CGI programs with this utility including the welcome program in source file CGISOURCE.

NOTE: If you have existing CGI programs, they will need to be recompiled. They will not run until you do.
