FAQ - Emulation Problems - Updated 12/17/02
What to do when you can't sign-on, or print out.

Verify emulation configuration.

If you are getting to the sign-on screen but are having device authority errors that prevent you from signing on you are probably using the wrong display device id.  Follow these instructions to verify your emulation configuration.

Although we can't provide configuration instructions for every known emulation product, we'll give you instructions for those that we can.  If you have an emulation product not listed here please let us know so we can add it.

Your account was provisioned with a specific host name and device id's.  They are the only ones that will work for your account.  Most of the problems encountered when trying to signon without success are related to incorrect display devices.  If you don't configure your emulation product to use the assigned devices you will not be authorized to access our systems.

Before you begin, you will need to know the host name and authorized device descriptions for your account.  (If you don't know what they are  click on the maintain account link on the menu bar to get them.)
